New Pokemon League Promos Releasing for “Friendly Tournaments,” Including “151” Pidgey!

Pokemon Leagues have started receiving prizes for new “Friendly Tournaments” in December. They will be casual tournaments that do not award points. This is to give casual players a taste of the tournament scene.

The prizes include reverse holo Play! Pokemon versions of [card name=”Pidgey” set=”151″ no=”16″ c=”from”][/card], [card name=”Rescue Board” set=”Temporal Forces” no=”159″ c=”from”][/card], and [card name=”Festival Grounds” set=”Twilight Masquerade” no=”149″ c=”from”][/card]. (151 master set collectors, take notice!) It also includes packs of dice.

While Leagues may give out these prizes at their discretion, TPCi recommends distributing the promos as participation prizes and the dice to top finishers. Check with your Pokemon League in December for details.
