This set is not gonna be popular with those people at all because there aren't any gen 5 mons that gamefreak + TPCI shove in their faces as much as those mons. Which, obviously, is great for us!!!

What a horribly confusing choice to include secret rare shinies in this set again only to make them ALL gen 1 mons. Whether or not you like alola (if you don't that's a huge character flaw) or not, we should all be able to admit not letting those shinies be for gen 7 mons in their own set.

I really, really hope these cards are all at LEAST playable. It's annoying - but acceptable - when another gen's cards are mediocre, but if anybody deserves to be in the meta it's gen 5. When was the last time gen 5 mons were really good? Every emboar, bisharp, lilligant, samurott, chandelure...

I think they're half-assing this set, intentionally or not. I suspect the gen 5 set will be the entree and the first mega set will be the actual dinner, I'm so excited to get crazy new cards that make the game feel fresh. These Trainer Pokemon aren't cutting it - megas are just more bombastic...

That card was one of my favorite pokemon ever printed and I never even got to use it in its prime because it was abnormally expensive in PTCGO. I want them to reprint that card's text some day...maybe on Mega Lopunny ex?

We aren't getting the last set of the era any time soon. Legends ZA is still gen 9 and Gen 10 starts November of 2026....we still have from now until then for them to do sets. This generation isn't the same length as the rest, they took a few more months to make ZA.
