Besides, BW3 already exists on the GBC, and it's better than anything Gamefreak would be able to make today, with how they (barely) Pokemon Work™ these days.
They already made exactly that for a launch-day bonus purchase of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet at special Target stores in the US, who actually felt like participating. Definitely didn't end up Ubering to like 4 different Targets that morning while trying to find a participating store, nope. ^^;
