Yeah, I can imagine that full arts wouldn't be as hated if they had the same texturing intricacy and depth they had in Gen 6 and late Gen 5. And isn't it just generally mainly targeted at kids everywhere?

Something that annoys me is how much of a downgrade the English Stellar Tera ex cards are compared to the Japanese ones. Like... why did they get rid of the holo on the Pokémon and on the border too? And then despite that, every Prismatic Evolutions SIR is 10 times the price of its Japanese...

I like the art better than the ex versions because at least you can SEE Ogerpon herself. My biggest beef with those is that the main focus was always on the mask while Ogerpon simply chilled in the background (and got covered by text in some cases).

I'm part of the "generic cool dragons and swords" crowd (hence why Roaring Moon is one of my top 2 Gen 9 Pokémon and is more popular in the west in general), but I am pretty fond of Ogerpon because of how they made her into an actual character
