But then during the Platinum era, the Gym Leaders and Frontier Brains each got only 2 Pokémon (not counting Lv.X's), while the Elite Four got 5 each (Not including Lv.X's), Cynthia got 11 cards (Counting Lv.X's and their reprints, because apparently I'm inconsistent), Mars got 2, Saturn, Jupiter and the Team Galactic Grunts got 3 each...
In the two Gym sets, which were massive for the time, the eight gym leaders got dozens of cards each while Team Rocket also got a handful.
