Not only does school force you to take unnecessary classes, but in my case, I never learned about how mortgage works, how credit cards work, how to cook, how insurance works, how to legally reduce/avoid taxes, etc. You know, the important stuff in life.
And the purpose of school is to put you in the rat race. No offense to anyone currently in school, but really understand where you are going!

I mean, maybe these are the things the tax payers and university donors would rather teach to their own children than pay for someone else to teach them. A lot of them, anyways. Not sure how many parents know about the "legally reduce/avoid taxes" bit.

I could totally see this stuff being valuable on the high school level regardless, but as for college, I'd be going to college to learn more specific skills (Skills that would help me write about the Bible or other topics for a living, as a personal example).
