    They wanted a Brand new start. This region is farther from the other 4 regions so that means all 493 Pokémon never migrated that far i guess. Im actually happy with ALL NEW Pokémon.

    They may be replacing some Pokémon.., but its not like were never gonna see them again. lol. I love all the new changes. Except for the fact that we have to put in 6 Pokémon at a time from gen. 4 games.

    Im sure the writers probably intended to let ash go battle them..., But the show was running out of time. They had to move on to Best Wishes. Im glad he got to atleast battle palmer though.
