Trainers are always useful especially some of the fancier ones like brigette, max elixir, etc.

If it included fancy energy cards then maybe but energies are worth less than a penny a piece...

Both octillery and Zoro draw variants can work. It's a bit of a guess on meta. In a heavy fighting meta your zoroa get chewed up. Lycanroc feels like a must to get the right cards in active.
