Standard Winona Deck (Miltank / Unfezant)

You need more Sycamore. 4 Winona is Way too many. Another tech you may want to consider is Octillery line, so you can draw more sufficiently during your turn.

    Discussion Is Golem EX playable?

Why include Golem EX? You have a top tier deck in just Garchomp / Battle Compressor / Maxie why include an EX and make your prize trade worse off?

    Discussion Garbodor Partners

An easy way to fix that is to include Gallade. Solves the problem right quick. And also helps matchups against other Electric decks as well. Ultimately it just truly depends on the meta the deck is going to be played in.

    Discussion Garbodor Partners

When XY sets were fairly new I played Yveltal EX / Seismitoad EX / Garbodor for regionals in California, it was my first major tournament and I place in the top 40 out ~300 masters. Its a great deck, that has a lot more versatility now, and it is definitely a deck to be looked at again for...

    When is the Next Rotation?

I would expect them to keep in Phantom forces, since it was the first set to include Spirit Links, and not to mention it has the main cards for one of the biggest Archetypes in standard(Night March) But, I would not be surprised if they did rotate up to Primal Clash though. But we can safely...

    Discussion Is Golem EX playable?

Golem EX is a less suitable Fighting type attacker. It requires too much to be playable, and is incredibly lack luster overall. More in part due to the fact it damages itself, and make focus sash unusable, and puts it into OHKO range for a lot of the quick attackers in format.

    Standard Zygarde-EX / Carbink BREAK

I would stick to just utilizing the Carbink attack for energy acceleration, so you could very easily remove the Max Elixirs to make room. Also, I don't think you will need 3 Power Memory, two should be sufficient. I would also up your count of fighting stadium, with only two you are bound to...

Collecting "How Much is This Card Worth?" / "Is This a Good Trade?"

There has been quite a few of these floating around. My league leader collects these specific misprints, and usually over trades for them. The hard part about putting a value on misprints is they are only worth what a buyer would pay. But something like this I would guess that the value is...

Standard Palkia EX / M Gyarados EX

The Second Manaphy EX is certainly not necessary. If worse comes to worse you can manual retreat, and get the energy back via super rod. It's rough but you dont need to risk 4 easy prizes, for free retreat. The 12 water energy is a bit high, especially in a deck that can focus on conserving...

    Sun & Moon Starter Pokemon

The only real similarities I see, is Large, Snake-Like.

Japan's XY10 Set: 'Awakening of Psychic Kings,' Alakazam!

It's definitely not the Shining star of the set. I am super excited for the new Zygarde EX though.

Japan's XY10 Set: 'Awakening of Psychic Kings,' Alakazam!

I think it can still be good. Max Elixir will help it work more, and Clemont even more so, especially with Magnezone. It could very easily appear as its own archetype with Magnezone / Raikou / Kingdra EX. The biggest problem it faces is the overly popular item lock decks. It doesn't help that...

    Sun & Moon Starter Pokemon

I can see how the exact species would be hard to differentiate. The only person that really knows is who created serperior.

    Discussion Jolteon EX

I see what you're saying. Fairy Box Has its counters, but it also has its utilities. But I'm not saying it has to be a fairy box to utilize this combo, but it could benefit from it. Hell, the Eeveelutions could very well end up being its own Archetype.

    Sun & Moon Starter Pokemon

Serperior is based on multiple species of snakes and limbless lizards, such as Oxybelis fulgidus, Ahaetulla nasuta, and Ahaetulla prasina (species of vine snakes), as well as the emerald tree boa, royal python, and possibly Burton's legless lizard. From bpedia

Help The "What Deck Should I Play?" Thread

Look up Honorstoise. It is a World Championship winning Decklist. For the actual deck it should hit right around your price point, most expensive cards being the VS seekers, Battle Compressors, and the Keldeos. It is a very quick Deluge Deck, that hits hard, and isn't terribly effected by item...

    Discussion Jolteon EX

Umm, combo Jolteon EX with this in a Fairy box, and you got a winning deck... Besides the occasional oppenents Lysandre, you could potentially lock the opponent out completely just by not letting them do any damage. When, they do, you could just Max Potion it off... These two together, seem...

    Discussion Raikou Magnezone

It's not exactly the item lock i would worry about for this deck, but more the resurgence of fighting decks. The deck can run without items, although it is greatly hindered. But it just can not compete with the fact that Garchomp can one hit a Raikou with 1 energy. Plus, I have been seeing many...

    Discussion XY9 Garchomp Partners

Biggest problem you're going to run into is the fact that those rare candies are going to be dead cards against Three Huge Meta decks. Unless you are running garbites as well, you will have issues. My META is FULL of item lock though, so your success can and will likely be different depending on...

    Discussion XY9 Garchomp Partners

Not to mention Dedenne is a colorless and cheap attacker, but it still allows you to keep the positive prize trade.(usually) I think y'all are undervaluing Hawlucha as a good partner for Garchomp. My list is in the deck garage, but I play 4 hawlucha, 4 garchomp, 2 Lucario EX, 2-2 Garbodor and 1...
