round 2: @Sethy79 @rek072000 @Sethy79 79 wins 2-1 against @rek072000 great games. You slaughtered me on the first round and shows how powerful your deck is when it gets a broken start. Good luck round 3.

Agreed. Definitely interesting games. I sure wish I had the N at the end of the game there, but he just wouldn't show up for me.

Round 5 @Sethy79 vs @CaptZero @Sethy79 won 2-0 Sorry for the bad math on the second game. I thought you had the knockout too and was wondering what I would do to pull out the win. I loved the surprise play in game 2 also. That changed things in an interesting way. Good luck in round 6.

Congrats @Pengwin You crushed me with that deck in the tournament I won. I was just praying that I wouldn't have to face you in Top 8! Glad you pulled out the win finally!

    Zeraora-GX from SM7a Revealed!

Very nice card. This will be highly desirable right away and should bring in a strong new electric archetype.

    Discussion Experience vs Power

Every time I try to pick up a BDIF and play it on a whim, it's terrible. I couldn't come up with a better game plan than Buzzroc for the May tournament here on pokebeach and lost promptly my first two rounds. It's a great deck, but I just wasn't prepared for it. If you go with a top deck that...

Help Card Suggestions for Necrozma GX/Malamar?

You really only need to get the first two energy in the discard to get the engine up and running. If you have 8 discard options (ultra ball and mysterious treasure), then sometimes the difficult part is getting the energy in your hand at the same time as discard options. Some people have played...

Discussion Buzzwole after Rotation. Still a Contender or Fallen off the Wayside?

I don't play much expanded with real cards (just too much to get a hold of overall for me). Besides, I find that in most cases the price drops quite a lot for cards once rotation hits or the standard competitiveness of a card drops. Good thing I pulled two of my Buzzwoles from dollar tree packs!

Discussion Buzzwole after Rotation. Still a Contender or Fallen off the Wayside?

I'm definitely selling my buzzwole and max elixirs in the next week or 2. I want to get top dollar for them before World's and the huge price drop shortly after.

'Charisma of the Wrecked Sky,' Japan's SM7 Set Announced!

I like the new Ray. I think it's solid that you can spread your energy around you pokemon in play to ramp up damage. It's a bit slower than Bulu, but if you go with Magnazone instead, you could get things moving pretty quickly. With just a single grass energy, and some access to several...

PokeBeach's May 2018 PTCGO Tournament, Sponsored by TCGplayer.com!

@PMJ Thanks for the work. I'm sure it's not easy corralling 96 trainers into a smooth tournament online. I've certainly appreciated the chances to play and compete online. Best of luck to you.

    SM7a 'Fairy Rise' Announced!

It's cool to see a new dimension valley-esque stadium. Especially if it can help out a typing that struggles because of attachment requirements. Still making it a prism star definitely limits its utility. One field blower and your deck would fall apart. Too bad.

    SM7a 'Fairy Rise' Announced!

It's hard to say until we actually know the text of the cards, but I like some of the ideas out there. My son and I liked playing with the old Rayquazza EX battle deck. It was an interesting mechanic and could be quite explosive. We'll see how it competes with ultra necrozma/malamar though.
