    Discussion Cards Rotating Out

It's not just about slowing it down, though. It's about making it possible for evolutions (other than Greninja), meaning stage 1 and 2 GX's for example, to viably prize trade with big basics and/or megas when you have to evolve twice or Rare Candy. If it's determined that doing so won't be...

    Discussion Cards Rotating Out

A format with no Hoopa & Shaymin certainly sounds refreshing for we players who like to play more slowly, conserve resources, and set-up evolve Pokemon. First time the game's had the chance to be like that since before the BW era began.

    Discussion Cards Rotating Out

I agree with most of what @crystal_pidgeot has said. The mechanics in the new set are just too different, and not rotating most of the XY-era cards will result in another year of a stale, largely unchanged game as the new cards are designed to be a slower, more conservative approach to the game...

Standard Golduck SM + Starmie EVO

Another user posted his take on Golduck/Starmie in this thread: http://www.pokebeach.com/forums/threads/golduck-sun-and-moon.138369/ Also a couple replies down I posted some revisions/opinions on it as well. Maybe some of this could help you. Good luck!

Thanks! Just wanted to point out my name is with an X, not a Z, so that they record it correctly :)

    Standard Mantis Lock Lurantis GX/Vileplume.

To each his own, but I'll stick with 3 of the basic. They're also the easiest to Lysandre and KO before they evolve.

    Standard Future Lurantis

People keep saying cards like Beedrill + Minccino (I think thats its name :P ) "take care" of Garbodor. I've played Beedrill/Yanmega a good amount, including in tournament, and let me tell you that is not necessarily the case. You can destroy the tool, but there is nothing --at all-- stopping...

    Standard Raiding Psy-Feathers

Alright, so I've thought about this some, and I think there are some ways to improve the overall consistency of the idea. First, I think you should focus more on Alakazam's attack, and less on his ability, treating his ability as more of a "bonus" than anything. You're going to build the bulk...

Standard Decidueye / Yanmega Break (Sick Deck)

Unless I'm missing it, you don't have Lysandre?

Standard Raichu/ Yveltal (Now Raichu/ Mega Rayquaza)

Just want to correct one thing here. -Magearna Promo's damage is based off the number of types on your opponent's bench, not yours. All the same, 3 is still what you'll get a good portion of the time, just figured I'd clarify. As for Zoroark, I don't really think he's needed with Olympia &...

    General Favorite Pokemon?

    1) Alakazam (and Mega) 2) Gliscor 3) Weavile 4) Muk 5) Mew 6) Decidueye 7) Goodra 8) Accelgor 9) Leafeon 10) Heracross Honorable mentions : Delphox, Kingdra, Charizard, Treecko, Chandelure, Drampa, Magmortar, Scizor, Dragonite, Umbreon, Gardevoir, Murkrow, Honchkrow, Bulbasaur. And so many...

Standard Raichu/ Yveltal (Now Raichu/ Mega Rayquaza)

Deck list is looking good! I have no doubt you'll see success with it as it is now. Here are some additional ideas: -Rattata EVO. An unusual play for Rayquaza, but one I think deserves some merit. While most benched Pokemon serve as 30 extra damage for Ray (or 20 for Raichu), Rattata can...

Help The "Is There A Card That Does This?" Thread

Assuming you mean standard, the only ways to accelerate water energy that come to mind are: Palkia EX Togekiss (ancient trait) Max Elixir Expanded has Blastoise (deluge) and maybe some other stuff

Help The "Is There A Card That Does This?" Thread

No problem! If you're interested in Lucario, I'd recommend playing him with Captivating Pokepuff to force down some Pokémon onto their bench. I'd also recommend Buddy-buddy rescue. It will serve as a way to cycle Lucario and Riolu back, and double as a way to guarantee to hit something off...

Help The "Is There A Card That Does This?" Thread

In the standard format, the only thing that comes to mind is Parallel City, which restricts your opponent to 3 bench. Other than that, there's a Sudowoodo coming out in the next Sun & Moon expansion which reduces your opponent's bench by 1 while it's on your bench (this does NOT stack with...

    Standard Charging Seahorse

You may have an easier time using Raikou as an attacker than Kingdra, since the energy cost is a little friendlier. It lets you focus all your deck space on just Lightning energy that way. You could maybe play a Flash Energy or two if you're worried about Fighting weakness. If you did go that...

    Standard Decidueye/Trevenant

Yeah. Even if you manage to land a Feather Arrow before it evolves, you still then have to dedicate a turn to Lysandre & KO'ing it for 1 prize in order for your deck to continue functioning. Meanwhile your opponent gets first hit (or knocks out) your 2-prize Trevenant/Shaymin/Decidueye. It may...
