Honestly the biggest advantage Ray has over Bulu is the ability lets you skip the energy attachment from hand that Bulu needs. Other than that, they balance out. The new Net Ball card does let you search out Bulu and/or a grass energy though.

Honestly it doesn't make much sense to look at a set and start pointing out everything that can't happen. People have pulled creativity from the cracks in any card game, and people here tend to shirt on cards that end up being game-changing (Gardevoir-GX anyone?)

Honestly I feel like nearly this entire set has potential in some way, shape or form. It'll be seen how much of it is viable competitively, but a lot of the concepts and ideas introduced/supplemented seem like fun decks to play.

Hang on I'm confused. What part of Electropower is worded in such a way that stops multiple Electropowers from stacking? Because the way I've been reading it, each one adds an additional 30 and I can't figure out why no one else is freaking out over that damage math.

That's even ignoring adding all those electripowers up. With Thunder Mountain you can do 150 each turn for free by playing all 4 electripowers before using the first attack to recycle them over and over.

Also, AEGISLASH, HNNG. Aegislash is one of my favorites, and while a GX would have been nice I'll take any new line (this being before translations are up, I hope it doesn't suck).

The Drill seemed a lot better until I realized you discarded a Pokemon and not an energy. Could still see play but it's hard to tell with a cost like that. I see Nanu able to pull off some neat shenanigans, maybe with Darkrai GX?
