New Ultra Necrozma Promo, TCG Prizes at Edion Stores in Japan

We got baby Dusk Mane. We got baby Dawn Wings. Heck, we even got the baby Ultra just now. Where's the baby version of regular Necrozma? The lore should be something like this: If the total of both players' remaining Prize cards is 6 or less, discard all Energy from this Pokemon. If you do, this...

    Expanded Magic Switch

Use Float Stones. Sure, they're Field Blower bait and Labs negates them, but at least you have the option of retreating Donphan for free whenever instead of burning up a card to do so while Labs isn't around.

Standard Photon Recharge (Ultra Necrozma GX/Malamar)

Personal preference. Some people run choose to run an extra copy in case one gets prized, while others cut the Dawn Wings count to 1 to make room for other cards.

Standard Photon Recharge (Ultra Necrozma GX/Malamar)

That's right. The extra copies are also insurance in case one goes down.

Standard Photon Recharge (Ultra Necrozma GX/Malamar)

You don't try set up all 3 Malamar at once unless you really want that third energy to start OHKOing everything in sight. It's ideal to have 2 on the bench, since 2 Psychic energy + Choice Band and/or Beast energy makes Photon Geyser lethal enough.

Standard Photon Recharge (Ultra Necrozma GX/Malamar)

You need a thick Malamar lineup to increase the odds of you having a piece at any time. If you really must trim it down, a 3-3 line or a 4-3 line is best.

    Standard Gardy/ Diantha

How are you going to deal with Hoopa and baby Alolan Ninetales on a daily basis? Clefairy on its own isn't enough because of how squishy it is. This is the reason why Gallade was a staple in other Gardevoir variants and I don't see this being any different.

    Standard Metagross-GX

Ranger isn't necessary for Metagross decks because you can get around Giga Hammer's drawback by manually retreating to a new Metagross and using Geotech System to reattach the lost energies. Max out on the Max Potions too since your Metagross may be taking a lot of damage throughout the game...

    'Forbidden Light,' Japan's SM6 Set!

Ultra Ball should've been in the Lycanroc deck IMO so you have a way to dump Psychic energies into the discard for Psychic Recharge.

I'm surprised we're also getting the e-Reader cards back along with the Neo and ex cards. Also it's, like, the third time the Beat Up Sneasel got reprinted. I wonder what would happen if Slowking came back.

Standard (Future) Light Dragon (Ultra Necrozma/Malamar)

Dawn Wings is in the deck mainly for its Invasion ability to let it jump into the active after Ultra Necrozma attacks, recharge Ultra with Malamar, then retreat back in combination with Float Stone. RayEels did the same tactic with Keldeo EX.

Forgot about that, but it's still a good addition until rotation hits.

Help Trying to Make Dusk Mane work.

People have been pairing Dusk Mane Necrozma with Silvally GX and Max Elixir as an alternate way of energy acceleration.

I'd add in 4 Steam Siege Talonflame into the list. Like with Rampardos, they work in the deck because they help you get set up.

    News Japan's SM6b, 'Champion Road'!

Going by the fact that Pokemon is following the video games more closely in terms of attacks and abilities for the most part, Smooth Over should be renamed to Bulldoze, a move that Magcargo gained in Gen V. This Magcargo also kept the Combustion attack its original counterpart had as evidenced...

    News Japan's SM6b, 'Champion Road'!

They skipped Mega Banette in the X/Y block. And they gave it a GX that's a spiritual successor of its ex version. I'm not sure how I feel about this, though the potential of OHKOing Buzzwole for a single energy is tasty while its ability can help with damage numbers. Electrode GX's Energy...

    News Japan's SM6b, 'Champion Road'!

Cross-Cut was already a regular attack seen on Pokemon after the original Scizor ex, like Crimson Invasion Bewear. They had to make Scizor GX faithful to its original counterpart.

    'Forbidden Light,' Japan's SM6 Set!

DCE helps with the attack cost, though. Greninja GX even has the option of denying a KO and keeping the DCE with Haze Slash.
