Pikachu’ s mouth also moves oddly and they couldn’t decide if the gleam in the eyes were pupils or just light hitting his eyes. It’s amusing seeing the inconsistency throughout the movie.

Rillaboom looks more Mythical than Zarude if we’re talking aesthetics that one would assume a Mythical Pokémon to have. But I like the design. It’s growing on me.

It’s Galarian Big Bird going by those legs. But in all honesty, it looks like a bird going by the feet and possible tail feathers / end of a wing.

If you weren’t a fan of Frosmoth before, that card will certainly entertain the idea. Looks amazing.

Does the subscription leave a lot to be desired? Absolutely. Is it going to break the bank? Not even close. $16 for a year is nothing.

I’ll watch it, but the animation is even janky-er with dubbed voices. I can also see why this didn’t get a theatrical release anywhere but Japan and why the next movie is back to more traditional animation. It’s just awkward looking and off putting, especially the human characters.

The cards are always crammed in there with damaged edges. I bought one and I was done. I prefer the deck tins that they had during the EX era (16 years ago, wow!) and periodically after. Those were nicer and the cards weren’t damaged.
