Blog MegaMan and Me: A Better Love Story than Twilight

Serperior We had almost the same idea to revitalize MegaMan: Raikou! Lately I've been using a MegaMan/Regice deck and has worked pretty decent so far, but I see so much potential in Raikou, specially after Breakpoint with the help of the zebras and Figthing Spirit Belt. And more disruptive...

    Standard Machamp EX / Ariados

Don't forget to add a couple of Focus Sash, they are great for both Machamp and Hawlucha. The first attack of Machamp, after Focus Sash save him with 10HP, will be hitting a whooping 340 of damage!!! And giving the low HP of Hawlucha you could be attacking twice with him, which could be at...

Standard The Bentley Build (Primal Groudon EX / Landorus)

Hi there, I know how you feel, I was in a hiatus of almost 9 years before returning to TCG. Now, about the deck: 1- Your build is good but fast decks like M Rayquaza, Night March, Vespiqueen, etc will kill you in no time. That's why the majority of P Groudon builds runs 3-4 wobbuffets, in...

Who to pair with M Ampharos

It doesn't matter if they have float stone, with paralysis you can't retreat unless you use a switch, escape rope or an ability. I totally agree that item lock, especially by preventing switch, is a really good combo. It is more a personal thing that I don't like to use item lock in my decks...

Who to pair with M Ampharos

I think that your idea of using Vileplume can be very powerful, but I hate item locking so I don't want to go there if I can avoid it :p I've been trying to pair him with M Manectric, using the electric dog as main attacker, and leaving M Ampharos and Lugia as secondary attackers. I don't have...

Standard XY-On: Primal Peace (Medicham / Primal Groudon EX)

The eevolutions will not beneffit Medicham at all, because Yoga Kick says "This attack's damage isn't affected by Weakness or Resistance.", so it doesn't matter which type is Medicham

'Mega Master Deck Builder Boxes' Releasing in Japan

Sadly, that's true. If by some miracle they made to this shore, I would buy the Kyogre box!

Article New Kids on the Block: New Decks from Ancient Origins in XY-On

Everyone forgets or ignores Ampharos :( and I think it has the potential to be a real trouble with the paralysis and 170 damage output. Alongside MegaMan it can be set up in no time! And you have Rough Seas or Protection Cube to avoid the own damage :)

Standard New to the Game (Primal Groudon EX / Wobbuffet)

I would drop the Fan Club for a Trump Card, is great way to retrieve your energy back and to cut out decks like Night March or Flareon, for example. If your problem is energy, maybe add 1 Landorus, just in case you need it. Maybe add some disruption like an Enhanced Hammer now that almost...

Standard Wobbly Volcano (Primal Groudon EX / Wobbuffet)

Nope bro, Wobbuffet blocks the ability of all the non-psychic pokemon.

Standard New to the Game (Primal Groudon EX / Wobbuffet)

Focus Sash can also help your Hawlucha to deliver at least 2 hits, which with a strong energy we are talking about dealing 160 damage for just one energy

Standard Wobbly Volcano (Primal Groudon EX / Wobbuffet)

Yep, I agree with everything you said. Maybe I used a bad example to illustrate my point (Primal Kyogre was the first thing that came into my mind xD) But lets say another matchup that doesn't rely on abilities like Toad, Gengar EX, Donphan, etc. My point is to have a balance in order to have...

Standard New to the Game (Primal Groudon EX / Wobbuffet)

There you go! Whoever told you that you can't play supporters was not your friend xD The Toad would be soooo broken if he lock you your items AND supporters  Please tell us your next experience against the toad or in your next tournament ;)

Standard New to the Game (Primal Groudon EX / Wobbuffet)

One thing is search and another draw power. You need draw power because otherwise you will have to rely in top deck the energies you need. I am totally sure you can search the Primal Groudon in no time and have it ready by turn 2. But once the item lock start, you have to use your supporters in...

Standard New to the Game (Primal Groudon EX / Wobbuffet)

Toad is one of the worst matchup this deck can have. So don't feel bad, I've been there too :( As the fellow trainer above said, you will need more drawing power, so I would suggest drop the Center Lady and 1 Korrina, then add 1 N and maybe 1 Birch or Shauna. You can drop the Max Potion (240HP...

Standard New to the Game (Primal Groudon EX / Wobbuffet)

I would drop 1 Korrina, 4 is overkill giving that you run 4 VS seeker. Also drop de Center Lady for another N. If you follow the advice of Keckleon-X above and add Wobbuffets (which I think are good addition, only that I wouldn't run 4 of them, maybe 2-3), you can drop de Focus sash and put...

Standard Wobbly Volcano (Primal Groudon EX / Wobbuffet)

I think it is a good build, but it's focused only as a counter against Raymin, what about the other decks in the metagame? let's say a Primal Kyogre would have easy time beating you, because it is fast and it doesn't rely on abilities. But maybe I'm wrong and you can kick his ass too :P I run a...
