    Whimsicott AOR/Wailord EX

You don't put Whimsicott in Wailord, if you are referring to Wailord as in the stall Wailord that took nationals. That deck is dead, and nothing short of a world wide memory wipe will revive it. Instead, you put Whimsicott and Wailord in a hit and runner deck, where Wailord serves as a wall and...

    Discussion Combating Vileplume/Giratina EX (AOR)

A Fairy Variant with Baby Xerneas and Aromatise could work. Baby Xerneas OHKOs Giratina EX with Rainbow Spear.

    Whimsicott AOR/Wailord EX

Whimsicott can work with Wailord, but not yet. It needs an attacker that can hit and run with Fairy Energy which can place a lot of pressure on your opponent. Until we get one, though, best not try.

    Discussion Thoughts on Hippowdon

Since this will be for the Expanded Regionals, why not Jolteon AoT? With it in play a Hippowdon with 1 Strong and 1 Muscle Band OHKO's Baby Yveltal.

    Define: Power Creep

I took a look at some of the cards back there, especially Elm, and it would seem that I forgot that a good number of the cards back then had the "You cannot play any more trainer cards this turn limitation". My bad. But yeah it seems that the real crunch was between Base --> Neo.

    Whimsicott AOR/Wailord EX

As far as I'm concerned, it is missing a piece. I'm the proud pioneer of a very similar deck right here: An expanded deck that uses Cofagrigus NVI who has the exact same attack as Whimsicott, but paired with an actual attacker in Gengar EX.

    Define: Power Creep

I had a really busy day and fell asleep sometime during typing this lol. Went over to look at the expansion sets. Yeah, I was completely unaware that Platinum and DP were different blocks. Thanks for informing me. On a side note, one more set. That's all we need for the current EXs to have been...

    Define: Power Creep

@Otaku IIRC you couldn't play Trainers on your opening turn for DP era.

    Define: Power Creep

@tototavros I'm in a similar situation to Otaku... From DP Era onwards, PTCG made a huge decline in my country and has been replaced by Vanguard and Magic until today. That said, Pokemon TCG has undergone a few huge changes with after Base Set, after Neo, and after DP being the most notable. I...

    Define: Power Creep

Aww, @Otaku got his say while I was typing this, but oh well... Any Base Set to X Set is a terrible comparison for power creep, because, well, the Mewtwo EX wars format you all love to use as an example of power creep, this format was arguably when Pokemon was the closest to its roots, so to...

Discussion Possible Top 5 XY-On Decks

Most likely a deck is is hyped so much, but when the real thing comes around ends up underwhelming just the way Pyroar is today. Well, maybe not as bad as Pyroar, but you get the idea.

Ah, I see. Thanks for clarifying. This is my first CaC contest here, so I wan't really sure about the rules. Hope the 4 lost points won't jeopardize me too much.

My entry: Magneton - 90 HP [M] (Stage 1 - Evolves from Magnemite) Ability: Magnet Pull Once during your turn (before your attack), you may switch 1 of your opponent's Benched Pokémon with a Pokémon Tool card attached to it with his or her Active Pokémon. [L][C] EMP {Overload: You may...

    Volcarona AOR

To me at least, it seems like he thonks you are talking about Plasma Lugia. That said, I agree that Lugia Bandit Ring won't amount to much. Even against something with 4 Energy on it, you are doing 120-160 damage, and tbh ifFsomething does have 4 Energy on it, it is highly likely to OHKO Lugia...

Discussion Possible Top 5 XY-On Decks

My answer is simple. I do not know. I seriously do not know what to expect from the next rotation. On one hand with have Golurk with its 5 types and 120 damage to OHKO everything weak to it, and Vespiquen to utilize the Eeveelutions s well. Raichu is now less reliant on DCE thanks to Flareon...

    P!P/Rules XY-On Rotation Confirmed for 2016 Season

I won't agree about N being a skilless card, because it did take skill on when to use N. However, like LTC, it was a card that took away skill from the game as a whole, though whether it took away more than it added was debatable. Anyone who has ever played Stage 2 decks knows very well the...

Discussion Possible Top 5 XY-On Decks

Back then, Empoleon was primarily used in decks with Dusknoir BCR and/or Miltank, due to how cheap it can attack for and the sheer Draw Power it has.

    Expanded Scrafty / Espeon

You are really trying to do too much with this deck. With only 4 draw supporters, I don't see how this deck could even function. When you try to mesh decks together, the strategies must complement. Scrafty is an all out attack deck that ran (in the video) that ran 11 Draw Supporters. Espeon was...
