Mewtwo (SVP) has the same HP and the same attack but it costs two colorless and only does 20 damage. I suppose if you’re looking to play a metal Pokémon with that kind of attack this card is ok, but otherwise…meh.

Honest question: what defines a season, and how are quarters measured? I thought every new set release was a new “season” (at least for standard).

Gouging Fire is an automatic 170 for 3 energy in a pre-release. A bit slow out the gate, but once it’s powered up you’ll be hard to beat. Magneton decks will be fast and self destructive. It only works for lightning, so those decks will essentially be mono colored. Chien Pao has…stadium hate...
