I still think that the OG Battle Academy is the best way to introduce new players. My First Battle lacks any layer of depth and teaches you the wrong way to play. New players may like this, but I remember being fully able to comprehend Battle Academy, and enjoyed it a lot. TLDR; I agree

Yay. Half-assed apology from TPCi. What's new? The way they handled this event so far has been poor and disastrous. Let's hope that they actually try next time. (At least there'll be more opportunities to get the card soon.)

The problem is, that Skeledirge is a Stage 2. I guess you could run a playset of Rare Candy, but if you run additional Stage 2s, that could be an issue. Anyway, I'm just happy that I can get a decently playable Skeledirge, since the Paldea Evolved / Triplet Beat one is pretty bad.

The blue borders look cool! I dislike mostly everything else about these sets tho. As I said before, the first Battle Academy is a WAY better choice for teaching new players how to play.
