@alupom That makes sense! Generation V seems to be heavily influenced by Chinese culture. (Isshu supposedly being based on Shanghai, the starters being based on Chinese classics) I like the direction GF is heading with this. :)

I don't think Generation I had the most original designs, especially evolution-wise. Prime examples: Diglett/Dugtrio, Magnemite/Magnezone and Grimer/Muk. Sticking three Pokémon together and/or changing their facial expressions is not what I'd describe as original. :/

Tsutaaja's and Mijumaru's evos look fantastic! I still don't know which of these two I will choose as my starter. I want both... T_T I was hoping that Tsutaaja would lose its legs in its final stage. That is one majestic looking snake! :D Haha, who would've thought "Wotters" final evo'd be...

I really like the fake English name for Tsutarja, Smugleaf. I've heard it so often that I don't care about its official name anymore. Tsutarja IS Smugleaf! Thank God there's the nickname feature. :D Wotter, on the other hand, doesn't appeal to me at all. Mijumaru deserves a much better name...

I think the new nurse Joy looks prettier and more modern than the old one. Officer Jenny looks a bit tomboyish due to the short hair, but I'm sure she'll grow on me quickly. Don't know what to think of this Shooti person yet, maybe he's gonna turn out to be an ok character. :) EDIT: Don't...

Yeah, you're right. It's quite unlikely, but I wonder if the medieval/futuristic aspect of those places will affect Team Plasma's behaviour in the different versions, e.g. White's Plasma has a castle HQ, while the Black version's Plasma claims a spaceship as their own lol :rolleyes:

Team Plasma grunts remind me of the middle ages, with their knight-like tunics. I like medieval stuff :) But there's also something futuristic and spacy about them, especially their name. That's a pretty intriguing combination.

Yes, Emonga is real. Only its sprite was fake.

TBH I also believe the Azurill thing was a programming fault. I just thought it was worth mentioning with the "Pokémon don't change sex when they evolve" debate going on here :)
