IMO, garchomp will see as much or more play than Flygon. SP varients out the whazoo. i REALLY like Yanmega/Landmine as a play, which is probably what i'll be playing for BRs... obviously a little Fried Chicken, Dragonite will be an interesting tech in a lot of decks, people will try charizard...

running Houndoom in Gechamp though, will hurt consistency. You'd have to throw in 1-2 darks in order for it to attack. All of this could be fixed if Pokemon allowed us a sideboard.

purugly is horrible. Ditto is fun, but a switch out or warp point turns you into a trapinch with 3 energy attached instead of a flygon, Fotom is a decent choice due to resistance, but due to the only +30 weakness, simply countering with weakness doesn't work. it worked pre-dp, and it works...

i don't think that there really is a way to slip a fire type tech into GeChamp without ruining the consistency. And when a tech hurts your consistency, it isn't worth using.

well, to correctly answer your question, we must first define synergy. Simply because you can put 2 cards together and it works great, doesn't mean the cards have synergy. however, cards like Blaziken and Heatran lvX, Blastoise and Delcatty, the cards that share a common thing, like 1 discards...
