(1) 'HeartGold & SoulSilver' Booster Pack Theme Deck, and Binder Images [1/5]

Not having Crobat in the set doesn't really matter to me personally (blocked by Unown G like 90% of the current format), but losing Ursaring is kind of a bummer. There were some really cool combos I know a lot of people had for him. Oh well, would have rather had Ursaring over Blissey, but I can live.

The art on the packs... interesting how they used the promo art for Lugia and Ho-Oh. I like that, I have to admit. Donphan and Ampharos look cool as well and are fitting to be on the packs. The binder is okay, I like having the starters on it and I'll probably pick that up too. Everything looks pretty cool so far and I'm really looking forward to getting some English scans and hopefully a set list as soon as possible.
 
I have a very good feeling this is going to make a huge impact in the meta.

Sleeves are nice, and the Pichu as the prerelease card is pretty obvious (Johto Pokemon, and pre-evolution of Pikachu.) Everything else is nice.
 
The binder looks cool, and so do the prerelease sleeves. The packs look Good, but it would be nice if they were PNG (Jpeg because of your laptop?) It's a shame that they are separating the sets, but PUSA seems to never want to give us really good overall sets. I'm sure we can expect rarity bumpups, and many of the good holo's divided between this set and the next.
 
Wow it looks like they are keeping the border from the Japanese set (or something close) instead of using the ugly bright yellow. Didn't expect that.

The original JP set is very large, somewhere around 170 cards, I do believe. I guess POP just didn't want too many cards.
 
the packs were awesome .. i like the art .. the themedecks are quite nice too .. but yeah prime ursaring without here makes me sad .. however since prime blissey is here i like it ^^ ..
 
I'M SO FREAKING MAD! Crobat was the prime pokemon I was looking forward to most. The sleeves look nice and I'm curious to what the pages in the binder look like. I will definently start hardcore collecting when this set is released.
 
What?! 2 out of the 4 Primes I was looking forward to most get cut?! Noooooooooo!
Oh well, I'll live. The artwork/sleeves looks awesome.
 
Well no surprise with theme decks, love the pack artwork, love the binder(I think I might get it especially since I'll have a lot of money for once and I'll buy a box and try to complete the set), love the sleeves (except I wish they used a different coloration than the one on the Arceus sleeves), LOVE the new borders (hope the card backs finally get changed too), and I find it cool how the prerelease cards have the set logo now. Not that I was going to run it, but Ursaring's a heavy loss. :( Oh well, still overall satisfied.
 
Awesome booster art and set logo. Love that we get the gold and silver border on our cards. Hope the card backs change too, but I doubt it. Can't wait to see more of these cards!
 
Yeah, it's quite unfortunate Crobat and Ursaring got cut, but cuts were bound to happen. :[ Pichu is fine as a Prerelease card. I love the border and the set stamp instead of saying Prerelease on it. The binder and deckboxes look cool, so I'll have to pick them up. The pictures on the packs look amazing and so do the pictures on the sleeves, but I hope the sleeves will have higher quality...I can't look forward to my Prerelease sometime in early February.

Yay Pichu!!!! The sleeves are pretty cool too. Also, I don't re4ally mind Crobat being gone since we still have Unown G in the format anyway, Ursraing is a bummer though.
