I've been wondering what the third mascot would look like...

A grey water pokemon sepent. Grey to complete the trio, water because of fire/electric/water, and serpent cause he'd look cool.
 
Maybe some type of gray serpent with wings to fit the dragon-type.
It would probably be a water and dragon-type Pokemon (not so unique, considering Palkia is also a water and dragon-type).
Some type of sea monster would be fine... But when you think about it, Reshiram and Zekrom represent yin and yang. Who's the third of yin and yang?

Yong. A completely made-up counter part that represents water in psuedo-japanese culture. yong represents delusions, insanity, and bubbles. Yong is a way of life. (at least for me)
 
I am pretty sure it wouldn't be water. I mean Zekrom would technically beat it. The secondary type should be something with normal effectivness. (i.e. Fire does normal to Electric types and vice versa)

So with that in mind it could be Poison, Dark, Fighting, Normal, or some others. Just my thoughts though.

Why not? Kyogre beats Groudon.
And Zekrom wouldn't really, because it'd be Dragon/Water most likely.

I hope it isn't grey, it's too obvious. I also hope it isn't dragon type, but something original. Maybe pure normal? Like a combination of yin/yang (good plus evil is normal?).

I was thinking it'd be the green cobra thing, since it accompanies Reshiram and Zekrom in a way like Giratina did with Dialga/Palkia.
 
Off topic a little bit: Reshiram and Zekrom aren't so tall o.o They are 3.2 and 2.9 METERS tall.
My head hurts.

True, but it seems unlikely to me. Plus the fact that they just had a Dragon/Water legenday in DPPt it just doesn't seem like they would choose it in the next generation. But who knows? Anything is possible.
