I'm sick of Durant. It's boring to play and silly that such a boring card can beat top decks. This is a list using Lapras Promo and Flower Shop Girl as a Durant counter. Lapras has an attack called Ferry that lets you return a Supporter from your discard pile to your hand. You use and abuse Flower Shop Girl every time you feel your deck is getting pretty scary low. You can actually outstall Durant this way. However, if it plans to attack you, Twins activates when they KO you. Then you set up your field. You can then reobtain Lapras immediately after to recover your deck mid-game. Reuniclus will make sure you don't get KOed, and the recovery of Flower Shop Girl will give you energy you need to retreat~

Stop the madness of Durant and play fun, real decks~

The Lapras-FSL engine is so clunky. What about Victini, the one that hits 100 with 2 energies? 200 damages every turn will kill the whole Durant army!

Yeah, BenchTini is the only thing you need to wreck Durant, just make sure that after you play Vileplume (which cripples them) you just draw and attack, nothing else. You even already run Rainbow.

I don't think this really "beats" Durant. All it does is mean that you spend your turn not attacking and KOing their Durants, but trying to damage control their Mill, which isn't guaranteed to work. There will be a lot of times where you don't have enough Pokemon or Energy in your discard pile to put five cards into your deck, and when that happens your strategy falls apart.

Flower Shop Lady is really a false economy against Durant; by "wasting" your supporter drop, you set them back a single turn, at best. Using both your attack and your Supporter drop to set them back a single turn doesn't help you at all, since they'll just mill the same amount of cards you put into your deck with all your efforts last turn (remember, you need to draw a card each turn).

BenchTini certainly fixes the problem, as would a Reshiram with 3 Damage Counters on it using Outrage. The upcoming Heatmor has an attack that does 10 for {C} with the text "if the defending pokemon is Durant, this attack does an additional 50 damage" and if that doesn't counter Durant, nothing does.

But, all in all, the best way to beat Durant is just to run them over; set up an attacker and keep on swinging. Once Vileplume comes up, they can't recover Durants with Revive or disrupt you with Crush Hammers or Lost Remover, so all you need to do is race the clock and KO those Ants.

L_X_F~ I`m going to take a guess that people using Durant deaks are beating you? I see what the stagity behind your deak is. It seems like it might work.I`m then again not to sure. How about mabe an energy or two more. But to tell u the truth the best way to beat Durant is to go for its weakness, but mabe thats just me?
