Getting bored of full sp decks so i thought of playing absol g whit something else. The deck i have thought of so far is gengar sf and absol g
(maybe add 1-1 /2-1 gallade e4) Is there anything other that might work with absol g (non sp pokemon)

EDIT: Please read the Player's Sandbox rules before posting. I added the link. ~EspeonROX.

Absol G from Supreme Victors (< EspeonROX forgot this link ;))
Absol G LV.X from Supreme Victors.

You could use Absol G with other Pokemon as a counter deck, with Absol G covering Gengar Prime, a Psychic Pokemon that is suitible for dealing with Machamp, Mewtwo Lv.X to slow down/counter SP, and possibly other things according to your Metagame. Basicly, I would run it as a Tech/Counter deck.

Hmm.. Might be fun. But i don't have mewtwo lv.X so i would need some other pokemon to make things harder for sp decks, would donphan prime work?

Donphan is great, especially in the format with Gengar Prime, because it counters almost every anticipated Lostgar counter, and Lostgar itself is countered by Absol

Ok maybe a little sablock/ chenlock like but what about this list. And then 2 judge and 2 cyrus's initiative for the disruptive part.
Pokemon
2-2 absol g
2-2 donphan prime (lol, garchomp replacement)
2-2 blaziken fb (hmm, might work?)
2 sableye SF (maybe 4)
2-1 uxie LA
1 azelf LA
1 unown q
1-1 manetric PL (for bench protection)

Energy
4 special dark
3 fighting energy
2 fire
1 dark
2 warp energy (?)

(No T/S/S line for the moment)

How would this work? could i still play power spray even though i don't have so much sp pokemon? Maybe i should add crobat g to the mix!?

Play Power Spray only if you add Crobat G. For Power Spray to work you need at least 3 diffrent SP pokemon in the deck, because it is very unlikely to have the 3 requirement if you only run 2 SP pokemon.

IMO drop the donphan for garchomp, just slows it down, and you also need crobat G to donk with sableye.

I didn't look at your list, but if you're going to play Absol (which I wouldn't recommend in the first place), you should definitely play it with Chatot G, as the SP engine is already there, and it can only really help you.

yeah i'll add 2 crobat. i already have a deck like this but with garchomp c (instead of donphan). But this deck would be a deck that can counter other decks well. And having garchomp in every deck is boring... But if not donphan what other (none sp) pokemon could i run absol g with?

OK made a new deck which include ablso g and gyarados SF. i'm kind of stealing the idea from tyraniking ^^'' he he, but he gave me permission so it's not stealing :) Any way here is the pokemon list i have right now. (deck untested yet)

2-2 absol g
4-3 gyarados SF
4 sableye SF
1 regice LA
2 crobat g
1 chatot g
2-1 uxie LA
1 azelf LA
1 unown q

The strategy is to use absol early and mid game (maybe late game too) to disrupt and discard magikarp(s) I use sableye to set up and collect magikarp(s) in my hand. and late game when i have 3 magikarp in my discard pile i can use gyarados to do some damage. I also run 2 water energy so i can attack with gyarados s second attack and maybe discard some cards from the opponents deck.

Right now i don't run any disruptive supporter cards so sableye s potential might go to waste here. So if anyone knows a better starter or if i just should go without it to add some T/S/S, let me know.

why not pair it with Dialga G lvl X to counter VileGar? That way you can use poke turns and such?

Well since i play absol and other sp pokemon i already play cyrus's c, poke turn, sp radar and energy gain (skipped power spray) But adding 1-1 dialga might work vs trainer lock decks. I'll try to fit that in.

^ Not the right thread for that question. But if you click on "user CP" in the to left corner undfer the pokebeach banner. There you can change profile settings and stuff like that.

Anyway back to topic. I'm posting a deck list (changed the pokemon list listed in post #11 ) I will post it in casual deck garage. So go check it out or give me more deck ideas here. ^^

Would 2 – 1 absol g work with luxury ball trainers? I would definitely go for absol g with charot. The energy will then sum up to around 10 darkness energy basic and 4 darkness energy special, I guess. Which is good? I don’t know much about weaville, but I have heard it has an attack called “chip off”. Heard it is quite effect, don’t know what it does though. Absol 3-1 is more consistent than absol 2 -2? I guess for a starter 3 – 1 absol g – sv is just the right choice.

Actually absol g is better played 2-2 than 3-1. I have played them both and 2-2 works the best.

Also, i skipped the gyarados deck. It didn't really work so good as i hoped it would. So i would need something other to play it with again. What (none sp) would be fun with absol g?

I could (and will) try mew prime, but only 2. Since there is the plausibility that i don't send any pokemon to the lost zone. I don't see how giratina would work good with absol?
