Pokemon Ash immortal?

Has anyone noticed that Ash and co have not aged since the first ep sure there voices changed but evryones gotta die someday or do they...
 
Yeah i know Ash is about 2 or 3 years older in the series same with others ive seen episodes when they talk about the past and such.. And brock has to be like 25.... lol hanging out with 14 year olds...
 
I don't imagine the makers of the original Pokémon series really foresaw it going for so long. Most Anime are only around 26 episodes-- There are only a handful that make it beyond that, like Shaman King, Naruto, and a few otheres.
 
well his voice got deeper but they don't sell *ahem* magazines in pokemon and he's not fallen in love which he should do alot if he is going through puberty

Jeez, thank you VERY much for that mental image. I'm gonna be puking for the next ten months. He should've age a little by now, and the producers have had plenty of time to make him older.

STrange if you compare ash now to ash in EP1, they don't look any different appart from clothes...

Ofcourse ash's immortal. He had already plenty of opportunities to die, but he just stays alive. It's only normal ofcourse, If Ash's dies, the animé would end and Nintendo would lose a massive ammount of money. But if he does die, I'd like to see his funeral however :)
 
I think Brock is definately maturing. He's ACTUALLY getting some girls now! Ash? Sounds like a 6 year-old.

The only problem with that is he falls in love the next time he sees a girl. He'll either be a polygamist or single for the rest of is life because he always cheats on his girlfriend. Ash, on the other side, hasn't matured at all, it may take a while for him to mature.
 
Seriously though, they really should have Ash age at least a year. Really, in all the other major, long-running anime I can think of (Namely Naruto, Sailor Moon, and Dragonball), the characters aged. I say they have him age a year for every new generation. That would make sense.

And yeah, Brocks WAY older than the other characters. In episode 10 I think he drinks coffee, meaning he's prolly at least 5+ years older then them.

Ive seen plenty of people walk in to starbucks at age 10 drinking coffee, i'm guessing it's probably more occurring over there
