I have a question about azelf:

1. If you use it's Poke-power and there isn't a Pokemon in your prizes, do you still put a card from your hand there? If so, what if you have six prizes, and there isn't a Pokemon?

No, you have to take a card to put one back.

If there isn't a Pokemon in your Prize cards, then you put your prizes back down, and that's that.
