Ruling Brick Break?

Ok, the new primeape that's coming out in Supreme Victors has a move that's called "Brick Break", the translation says it goes through weakness, resistance, and any other affects on the defending pokemon.

so would this move hit a Tropius who had previously rolled heads for "Fly" or a flygon who had just used "Sand Wall"?

Self-protecting effects, like a Fly-like attack or Mr. Mime MT's Body, count as effects on the Pokemon.

follow up question, do special metal energys count as an effect on the pokemon?
as it doesn't affects the pokemon, it effects the damage

It would go through special metal energies.

Same as rampardos. Basically no matter what the opponent has, you will attack at full power.
