Cards you WISH were playable

Some cards you just wish were a tiny bit better so they would be playable. Many rogue decks include cards that fit that idea.

I wish Nidoking from Triumphant was better. His attack is pitiful, and his body is not very impressive (compare him to Ttar prime)

I run a nidoking/nidoqueen deck... It's quite sad when you replace the nidoking for a better attacker. I was thinking Ttar prime to replace him.

I also was going to replace him with another card I love that I wish were better.

2+dce for 100? Yes please! 20 in between turns with nidoqueen? awesomecake!

Obviously with the new format he will be rotated. Sadface.

Lastly, a support pokemon that I wish was more useful:

I always thought Lumineon would be great in SP decks as a 2-2 tech or something. You get Lumineon in your active, then you use its power; it lets you put an opponents basic onto their bench. Not only can you do this and force them to drop a mesprit/uxie/azelf/spiritomb(tr) to prevent them from using it's power (its not their turn, they cant activate it), it lets you secure prizes without luxray and even if they don't play them. Lategame, wouldnt you love to poketurn your active garchomp c, promote lumineon, force them to place a pokemon and swap it active, then promote ambipom G to OHKO it? Or garchomp C to snipe the bench if you forced them to drop a regice? Etc?

The thing is though, it has 80 hp. It's also got a lightning weakness (LUXRAY). I wish it had 100 hp, and a weakness to grass instead...

Reminder: this isn't about the discussion of how to use the cards. It's about cards you WISH were better.

i wish they made a playable venusaur. its like the least favorite gen 1 starter. it deserves better

I wish there was a Dragonite that is tier one. Like a Dragonite Prime with some sort of epic ability.

Eeveelutions in general. Sure, back in EX block there was a semi playable deck that a very skilled player could do well with (it did top 2 in worlds '06) but even that was techy, and since then there's been little to no hope. Part of it is of course the lack of basics - if they made a 60hp Eevee with the Arceus Rule, I think the deck would be playable, if the MD Eeveelutions stuck around.

Lol I can just imagine it now, 100 HP secret rare Eveelutions with insanely powerfull attacks NOOOOOOO IT WOULD BE LIKE SP/ARCEUS COMBINED INTO ONE DECK! :smashcomp

EDIT: Sorry I forgot to mention that I wish that Lopunny AR were a little more playable.

Heracross, id love if that card was good.

Also all current (and past) bad cards i wish could have time in the light instead of Gengar, machamp, kingdra fire pokemons etc.

Anything spread. It's not that spread cards are bad (Palkia G LV. X/Gallade E4 LV. X was doing good for a while. TTar is always decent. Dusknoir was all right in the past as well.), it's just that the format is. Garchomp C LV. X, PokeTurn, Seeker, and Blissey Prime all go trollololololololol at any variant of spread.

I really wish there were a more viable spread deck (something like Glalie AR, perhaps, but better). I think that could make the meta really interesting.

any manectric

i love manectric. it was one of my favorite decks when i started (not manectric ex, just two uncommon manectrics)

i don't want another dontric manectric, i want an actual attacker. ex for three energy (two electric one of anything) and one discard, do 80 and 10 to the entire opponent bench. that'd be fun.

Well, I wished they'd stop making Gengars that break the metagame. Gengars are always bad ass (except maybe GL and the AR one) compared to most other Pokemon.

Meganium's short of a lot of love. Never seen a decent Meganium, hell, never seen anyone, not even a kid who just started out, try out Meganium. Golem needs attentions as well. These poor guys always get slapped with a ridiculous 4 energy for <100 attack.

Zangoose PL is a good tech.

Dusknoir SF with Night Spin needs to be better. If Night Spin could use DCE, it'd be played.

Fossils NEVER get love. Maybe there was one era where it was popular, but most of them suck...

I kinda wish that most of the Black and White set was more playable. The only things I noticed that were mentionable were these:

Zekrom
Reshiram
The Broken Starters
Zoroark
Cinncino (more a side attacker)
Klingklang (Healix anyone?)
Mandibuzz

I wish Krookodile were alot more playable. I want to run a deck with him in it, but with all the water decks rising its not a good idea.

Also these came to mind as Pokemon/cards in our "Next" format

Houndoom Prime
Celebi
Wigglytuff
Drifblim UD and in general.
Galvantula
Poliwrath
The Eveelutions
Snorlax

Too many more to list, but you get the idea.

Reshiram
The Broken Starters The only one that's broken is Emboar--Serperior isn't broken, but it is good.
Zoroark
Cinncino (more a side attacker)
Klingklang (Healix anyone?) A stage two for moving energy around? Just tech a shaymin.
Mandibuzz
Reuniclus--this card is broke...for now
Emboar ability
Bouffalant--Amazing tech
Swanna--Donphan Prime counter
Juniper--Tier 1 supporter, all the way
Retrieval--Pretty much a staple in Reshiram
Communication reprint--Well it IS a staple, even if it's reprinted
Switch reprint--same as above
