Me and my grilfreind got into over Exeggutor's attack energy absorbtion cus it states search your discard pile for up to 2 energy cards and attach them to exeggutor, well she thinks that she can attach the two energy cards to a benched exeggutor. I told her that she could.nt cus the effect applies to the active exeggutor only... whos right????
 
Whenever an attack says the name of itself, in this case Exeggutor, it should be read as this Pokemon. You must attach them to your active Exeggutor.~Mark
