Ruling Fossils Questions

If I am using Aeordactyl (Fates Collide 76), or any other fossil, in my deck, and I draw it, or get it from my prize cards into my hand, do I still have to use Old Amber Aerodactyl (Fates Collide 106), and if so how will its effects work out?

Aerodactyl says to put it into play only with the effect of Old Amber Aerodactyl.

Old Amber Aerodactyl instructs you to put an Aerodactyl from the bottom seven cards of your deck onto your Bench.

So that's how you get Aerodactyl in play. If it's in your hand, it's a dead card.
