Piplup -> Prinplup -> Empoleon
Chimchar-> Monferno -> Infernape
Starly -> Staravia -> Staraptor This is the Rentorer line...
Bidoof -> Bibarel
Kricketot -> Kricketune
Glameow -> Purugly Don't know what that is...
Stunky -> Skuntank

Otherwise still names that I still can't remember well...
 
That's sad, no credit, poor site. =P

Anyway, ya, I saw the trailer the movie looks great. And about the site, did anyone find all of those shiny things. I looked for about an hour and found all but 2. Oh, and there's a link to a site there that seems to give information, posters, and such about older movies when they finish they're latest 10th of the anime anniversary airing on TV. http://pokemon-movie.jp/10th/index.html In the bottom right of that page there a link to what appears to be a trivia page (100 questions) for the all the movies so far, and it also looks like scoring 80% or more gets you wallpapers representing all the past movies aswell as a 2007 Darkrai wallpaper. Problem is it's a flash page so I can't even use Google to put it to English BETA. So I was wondering if anyone here that can read Japanese might be kind enough to translate the question and options/answers (probably not, that's way too much work) or at least get the wallpapers and put them up on PokeBeach for everyone? The best I got from random guessing was 31/100 correct... =P
 
I found two star things too! Nothing happened though - I just clicked them and they floated away. :(
 
I just saw the new 10 movie trailer for Dialga VS Palkia Vs Darkrai, and as to the plot It seems The Dialga & Palkia have a "disaggreement" and begin a quarrel, and their fight for a while but the rip up some hole into another dimesion and release Darkrai who from the way the anouncer says its name in a villanous tone is da bad guy and Dialg & Palmia with the Help of Ash and co. will have to defeat Darkrai....

Is it just me, or do 90% of those names sound really juvenile... like a 5 year old came up with them?
 
Well, it took a while, but I finally found all the sparkly piece things on the site. When put together they form what appeared to be concept art for what looked to me like a flying machine. Then brought me to a page with these Darkrai wallpapers. Here are Photobucket links for anyone who wants them. ;)

EDIT: It wouldn't let me view it again so I started over, it didn't take me long as I still knew the locations of all the pieces, sending a screenshot to you now WPM.
 
I have 2 pieces, well, I'm searching, SAW ONE AND CLICKED AWAY! ARG!
anyhow, torterra and inpernape are good names, purugly is just so fitting, cause that thing's PURE IUGLY! (I know that it's made out of "purr" and "ugly", but whatever)
 
Purugly... man, I think that cat thing is awesome and then it gets a name like THAT. Its like a 400lb professional wrestler being called "Tinkerbell". Not cool.

I love Empoleon though. Kricketune is a good name, Starapter is ok but it sounds like it should belong to Rampard, and Infernape is... meh.
 
I quite like the name "Infernape", it seems so fitting.
Kricketot and Kricketune are cool nanmes as well.
All the others are alright, but nothing special.
 
By the way... does anyone remember that dumb rumor that the starters would be fighting, dark, and psychic type? And those dumb hoax images? So long ago....

I'm quite impressed with all the starters' names- You can tell they put extra creative effort into those.

Serebii stole the names from the Spanish site, claimed them to be his, and then even turned around and accused the Spanish website of stealing them. There is a whole thread about it on BMG. Someone also told Serebii of that website, and he updated his site with the names, then claimed to not know about that website.

In other words, the real site who should be credited is Pokexperto. :)
 
Are we sure about all that? I know Serebii is a jerk, but, based on the front page text, it sounded to me like he obtained most or all of the names from the same source as Pokexperto, along with dates for how early he was allowed to reveal them. At first, he had thought his source was exclusive, but by the time of the 3rd update he realized that Pokexperto had the same source but was ignoring the dates.
There is never actually any accusation of stealing, at least in the main page text. Again, yes, Serebii sucks, but, at least have proof to back up the bad things you say, or you are no better.

As for the names themselves, meh on Grotle, Monferno, and Infernape. The rest are OK to great. I like Staraptor, it is well past due time for American children to learn that raptor more commonly refers to birds of prey, NOT dinosaurs.
