Hello everyone, I wanted to get some feedback on this deck list I'm in the process of coming up with. Now, it's only just an idea, and so that means this might be a bit wrong in terms of what cards to use. If anyone can help come up with alternative cards to use/different ways to use the same general strategy, that'll be great. I'm looking to turn this deck idea into something I'll have fun with and win a tourney or two with.

Pokemon: 19
  • 2 Staryu
  • 2 Starmie (Breakthrough 30)
  • 3 Gastly
  • 1 Haunter
  • 3 Gengar (Breakthrough 60)
  • 2 Oddish
  • 1 Gloom
  • 2 Vileplume (Ancient Origins 3)
  • 2 Regice (Ancient Origins 24)
  • 1 M Blastoise EX
Trainers/Supporters/Stadiums: 29
  • 3 Rare Candy
  • 3 Level Ball
  • 1 Heavy Ball
  • 2 Ultra Ball
  • 3 VS Seeker
  • 4 Professor Birchs Observations
  • 3 Wally
  • 2 Evosoda
  • 2 Fisherman (Breakthrough)
  • 2 Archies Ace in the Hole
  • 2 Silent Lab
  • 2 Battle Compressor
Energy: 12
  • 7 Water Energy
  • 5 Psychic Energy
Strategy:

So the general idea is to ideally use Regice (or any other basic really) to start off and get evolutions going. Regice is there to stop EXs and stall for some time. Starmies purpose is for "Balance Bind", which Paralyzes the Opponents Active if both players have the same number of Pokemon in their bench. This is to later set up Gengar, which then goes and knocks out that active. To remove the paralysis, you can use an item, ability, or supporter. Vileplume is there to prevent items like switch or escape rope from being used, and Silent Lab is mostly there for any potential disruptive basic Pokemon abilities. There's still a few things that might get through (such as Pokemon center lady and sparkling robe) but hopefully most of the time, they won't get out of the paralysis. Afterwards, Gengar comes in and knock out the opponent due to its creep show attack, where Starmie used its balance bind last turn.

M Blastoise is there for heavy damage in case I can't get a good set up going, or I just want to spread the 30 damage because of its attack for Gengar later to use creep show

Any advice would be awesome. Thanks :)
