I've got a play set of these and I don't know what to do with them.
I was thinking to pair it with Machamp (prime or not).

Garchomp is pretty good now. Claydol gave it the consistency it needed, and it top cut at Worlds last year. After the MD on rotation, Claydol was rotated, so it had some late game problems, even with a heavy Uxie line. But I feel plain Garchomp with maybe 1-1 Lux X and some Lost Removers will make it a good deck.

Also, when BW comes, this'll be one of the best decks to play IMO. (Pokemon Catcher and Crash Hammer)

If you're not playing them for states, keep them for when BW comes. You wont regret it.

I still believe the real fun is Garchomp X Reanimator, but that's just how I roll. Straight garchomp is probably pretty solid right now, consider maining a lot of fire energy - you can get away with a lot using the fire engine.

I was also thinking to run it as a Gyarados counter.

120 for {C}{C}{C} if they just use Tail Revenge

I think pairing it with a healer (Serperior when it comes out) is honestly the best way to go. You can tank them and switch them around so they never die. It'll be a better deck when B/W comes out (and possibly even better after the Rotation).

dmaster out.

@Tyraniking: Unfortunately, once B&W is out, Trainer lock will be even more popular, which means cards like Crash Hammer and Pokemon Catcher will be almost unplayable. It's unfortunate because I was going to run Garchomp after rotation, but I don't think I will anymore.

Well, I'm no too certain as to whether or not trainer lock will be that popular... Remember that the main reason people have for playing a trainer locking strategy today, is the utterly broken card Gengar from SF. With him rotated, I don't see too many decks with the lock-engine doing too well - skipping trainers for your own part hurts too much. Of course if you use Gothruzelle on the other hand...

Well, I guess there's Gothitelle, but any good Garchomp SV list will run Cyclone. As for Vileplume, well, you're just going to have to deal with it or drag it up with something like Blaziken.
