Giga Impact + Traunt = ?

If I use Giga Impact with a Slaking will he only have to wait the usual 1 turn because of loafing around, or will I have to wait 2 turns, 1 for recharging and 1 for loafing around?

Only one turn, but the strategy is not very effective in competitive battling because in addition to wasting a turn, you still may not switch out if you use recharge moves.
