Giratina is awesome and i played it as soon at it was released . And i'm doing a deck around giratina to.. I don't know, just for fun? But in the matches i played so far it did unexceptionably good so i'll post it up here (not the list i started with) and see if it can be made better.

Pokemon 17
3-1 giratina (PL#10)
1 bottom 2 top ~ Darkrai & Cresselia Legend~
2 uxie LA
1-1 azelf LA
1 lunatone SV
1 solrock TR
2 spiritomb LA
1 unown q
1 lucario GL

T/S/S 32
3 Premier ball
2 level max
4 super scoop up
2 energy exchanger
2 expert belt
1 pokemon rescue
1 luxury ball
2 pokemon collector
2 judge
2 pokemon communication
2 professor oak's new theory
2 bebe's search
1 lucian's assignment
1 palmer's contribution
3 miasma valley

Energy 11
4 double colorless energy
2 call energy
5 psychic energy

The strategy is simple, spread. The ideal start is eater to start spreading directly with giratina and a DCE or get call energy and get solrock/ lunatone out fast if i know what i'm playing against. And DCL is there to move the damage around to hopefully get some k.o s.

Since i play few pokemon and i only need to get out 1 giratina to get started. I play 2 judge to disrupt my opponent and it shouldn't hurt me. Since all my pokemon are basic i might have some trouble with machamp but i'll also hit for his weakness so i added 1 lucario GL hopefully it will help. And the lucian's is there to save my energy some time under the game, or to load a new giratina faster. I play 2 spiritomb since i in lots of games could have needed 10 more damage on some to get multiple k.o s at once, and it can give up to 6 damage counters for DCL to move around. The 1 pokemon rescue has helped me almost every game so i won't take it out, but maybe try to find space for 1 more. The rest of the card choices should be obvious.

Some suggestions? ( This deck beat a luxchomp! )

I ran a similar deck, but I included Galade 4 X in it to get 3 damage to their entire field without attacking, drop spirit tomb and hope to SSU him up a few times before attacking with Giratina.

I tried using Metagross with the Gravitation body that lowered all HP by 20, but I couldn't get it to flow right. Maybe you'll have better luck on it.

But those are the only other techs I can think of that might get you some more Spread. Oh! Add two Seeker in the deck to auto pick up the tomb and drop it back down for more damage.

Quickest response ever XD

I don't want to run any stage 2 since then i would have to add rare candy and stuff... Same with gallade E4 (but sp stuff). The thing i would need some help with is the T/S/S lines a bit I'll try hunter (seeker...) But i'll have to get it first.

I run Giratina too but it is a little too slow. I use it in the end. You should put a counter to machamp, as it is a popular card. Judge will propably just help them. Why not start with sableye and do a hand lock. With Chatot G, opponent is kind of locked for 3 turns, which you can prepare Giratina. I take the legend awaknend one, because lt can do big after a hit of darkness lost.

That would make the deck so much slower. Right now this is a spread deck and i can mostly (played 2 games) get giratina and 1 DCE on the first turn and start attacking. Next turn 1 {p} and i can do 60 (80 with belt) and they should already be damaged but the first attack. So i'll stay with this strategy (so far).

You have totally mind read my ideas! :p

But you'll want to beef up those Lunatone Solrock lines a bit. 2 or each.

Yeah when i get a second lunatone, but what should i take out? If i knew i would have made the space for them already.

You need a machamp counter or else it's auto loss... idk which one would be good though... gengar sf maybe with the lv x
And I also recommend 1 jirachi ul in here to recover energies and also for some disruption and suprise ko's

I was gonna post this right now, and I saw you had already done it, so now I'm sad.
:(

But, I use Gengar X.

^ my bad '-' he he

I did play this (almost this) with a 4-2-3-1 gengar line. But i took it out since this deck would be so much more fun. I also had 1 jirachi UL in the deck already but took it out since i really need the bench space in this deck. And SP is over played here so i can't really devolve much.

Lost hard vs machamp sf/umbreon ud today. Ok not that hard, it was a good game.. or at least the 3rd game was a good game. I was donked the 2 first games. The thing that was hard to handle in the match was that even if i did k.o machamp (which i did) he would just "take out" my giratina / uxie X with a new machamp. And umbreon has resistance so i couldn't damage it when i was spreading with giratina (not X). Any suggestions that would make this match up a little easier. Things i have considered is:

Lucario GL so they get x2 weakness on machamp.
And taking out mesprit for something else...

Take out all the visit (not too good draw), a Judge (You have so much hand refresh already), a rescue (1 Rescue???), burned tower (?), a Lucian's (Just watch), and a Miasma (3 is too many) for Skymin UL (Lucian's replacement), 1 more SSU (Why 3?), 2 Call (You need at lease 3 Call or no Call), 2 Communicator (I don't know why it's not in here) and 1 Bebe's Search (more consistency).

Bump,
Made some changes as people might notice. Added pokemon communication to have a way to get my DCL out. And i now play 2 lunatone & 2 solrock.

I think i need lucario gl in this deck to help vs machamp. So what should i take out for it, any suggestions?

Reduce your LunaRock combo. But even with lucario, you're probably going to lose to any machamp deck with more than 1 macheap SF.

Also, replace 1 giratina with the Let Loose Giratina, and take out the Judges for Seekers.

I won't play seeker in this deck since it will only take away damage on the opponent's pokemon, and i'd have a hard time getting my damaged giratina benched if i did use seeker. Let loose giratina works only once... and is not the best to attack with (i know it spreads and dose 60 damage) since it takes 2 psychic and 1 colorless energy to attack with.

If i did take out 1 lunarock (1 of both) what more should i put in? except 1 lucario gl. Maybe 1 more DCL piece?
