Ruling Heatran type.

ok so im playing heatran from legends awake{M} and Lv X it to {R}

i know the answer already but im fighting with my girlfreind about it(i pwned her venausaur and shes mad)

she says that she shouldnt count venausars weakness because the atack itself came from the {M} pokemon not the {R} Lv X.

Type is _always_ determined by the top card unless the top card says otherwise. Heatran LV.X attacks as Fire, not Metal.

The only know exception to the above rule is Arceus LV.X; its Poke-Body Multitype makes its type the same as the card below it (instead of Colorless).
Other than that, you always, always, ALWAYS go by the LV.X's type, never the card underneath it.
