Yes, the title is real; no fancy mirror tricks or smoke. This is actually a thread for an image war. But what is an image war, though? Basically, it's a SPAM-off between two dorks who think it's cool to post a lot of lousy but funny internet meme's (the motivational pictures for example) and gifs. So... to avoid that (as well as PMJ's banhammer), I decided to change it up a little (which means a lot).
The Rulez—Obey Them—
1). 2-4 contestant—the people actually taking part in the 'war'.
2). Those who are not participating will act as a "judges." Their role is to vote for the person with the best image or gif (based on the voter's own opinion). How to vote for a contestant is simple. Just post the name of the person you want to vote for in BIG BOLD letters. Anybody can vote.
3). This is will be round based. 1 image or gif per person for each round. Rounds will also have themes; topic the contestants must find an image or gif of.
4). All images will be Private Messaged to the War organizer (usually GODZILLA) before each round. Once each contestant's images are gathered, they will be posted in the first post.
5). There will be a first, second, third, and fourth place.
6). You may make your own images and/or gifs.
7). NO IMAGES AND GIFS MAY HAVE ANY PROFANITIES OR EXPLICIT CONTENT. I cannot stress that more.
8). You May not vote for yourself.
9). PMJ did give me clearance for this. As long as you follow the rules, we should be A-OK.
General Information
Based on the popularity of this, there will most likely be more 'wars'. To add to that, each war will only be 3-5 rounds. 6 at the maximum so it should be easy to do a couple of them. Points will be tallied for each contestant under "CURRENT CONTESTANTS" and to the right of their names.
