As many may know, especially Americans, today is Thanksgiving Day; it's an important holiday in the US, usually asscociated with families getting together and stuffing themselves with turkey and a smorgasbord of foods. But it is also a holiday where we give thanks. So:

What you are thankful for for this Thanksgiving?

What you are doing for this Thanksgiving? Are you going to see a movie? Is family flying in? Are you going home? Is it just a normal day?

What will your meal consist of? You can share recipes, if you want.

Will you prepare for Black Friday?

You can also share your thoughts on Thanksgiving or share some history.

im thankful for my part time job, health, stuff i own, family, Blessings, Being American :)
 
So, I'm thankful for my health, living comfortably, family and friends, the lovely people here at Pokebeach, our freedom, God's love and blessings, and so much more.

For this thanksgiving, I am with my family sans an older brother who is with his wife and newborn baby girl. We will be feasting. We just put up the tree and other Christmas decorations. Tomorrow, we will see a movie, maybe The Book Thief.

We will be eating a huge Turkey. There will be rolls, dutch apple pie, casseroles, corn on the cob, mashed potatoes with rosemary, gravey, and maybe some other stuff. It will be a bit modest. Our three cats will get some turkey, as well.

I'm not sure if we will do anything for Black Friday. We haven't before, but if so, it will be online.

Although it is after Thanksgiving I feel like I should still tell what we are all thankful for.

Hmmm...

Well, I am obviously thankful for electricity, water, food, clothes, houses, etc..

But what I am most thankful for are my closest friends. The ones who smile to me in the hallway. The ones who actively ask if I want to hang out. The people who ask if I am alright, even though I am just tired. The people who act stupid with me just because. These are the people I am most thankful for, as they have given me many good memories and will give me many more to come.

I worked my Thanksgiving. It was good, my supervisor and coworkers all shared a couple laughs. I, of course, was the source of those.

also not posting what i'm thankful for because I don't want to feel like I hate myself when I wake up tomorrow.
