Hello everyone, I'm new to the PB forum, I've always used PB for news and http://google.com/ for a forum so now I thought that I would use both for a forum. So, I've been wanting to make a deck with Yanmega prime, and at a league yesterday a friend of mine suggested useing Yanmega and Magnezone. I have no idea what that kind of build looks like so I kinda had to make my own.

Pokemon: 18

3-2-3 Magnezone Prime
3-3 Yanmega Prime
x2 Uxie LA
x2 Unown Q

T/S/S: 34

x3 BTS
x3 Rare Candy
x2 SSU
x2 Bebe's Search
x2 Pokemon Communication
x4 CopyCat
x4 Judge
x3 Pokemon collector
x4 PokeDrawer+
x3 Expert Belt
x2 Junk Arm
x1 Palmer's Contribution
x1 Luxury Ball

Energy: 10

x2 Lightning Energy (Basic)
x2 Grass Energy (Basic)
x2 Rescue Energy
x2 Call Energy

The strategy is to get out a Magnezone on the bench and a Yanmega as active and snipe and use sonic boom throughout the game for no energy because of Yanmega's pokebody which can be used with judge and copycat and magnezone's pokepower. The biggest problem is DGX and i've been trying to think of the best fire counter for it. Any Ideas?

You only have 8 energy. :) May I suggest adding some more grass?

Though I only think Magnezone is used for drawpower, you have almost no energy. In order for Magnezone to use Lost Burn, you're going to need quite a few energies. Unless you use it for drawpower, drop all of your electric energy for some more grass/call. But you pokemon line looks superb, and I don't say that a lot(actually, I've never said superb :/)

However, you need to update your post and organize your Pokemon line like this:

3-3 Yanmega Prime
3-2-3 Magnezone Prime
2 Uxie LA
2 Unown Q

A few things I suggest is:

1)Drop 1 Unown Q; Why? Yanmega has free retreat, and you'll never be attacking with Magnezone.

2)Add 1 Azelf LA: Why? What if something you need is prized?

3)Add a good starter: Experiment with Sableye SF, Spiritomb AR, and Smeargle UD.

I understand if you cannot get these cards(specifically Smeargle), but try your hardest. Not all of them is necessary, but you could try.

On a final note, I like your avatar. :)

Thanks for letting me know about the pokemon line thing.

I have the two unown Q for if magnezone or an uxie got dragged up from a blaziken or luxray.

I mean't to have an azelf, sorry!

I agree with you on the starter thing. I'm going to add some smeargle because I already have some.

Thanks for the help!

Azelf is a league promo right now. ;)

I think you could drop a Rare Candy and a Expert Belt for 2 more Bebe's
Or 2 of whatever. You have 3 BTS, you shouldn't need 3 RC. Expert Belt is good n' all, but I personally never use 2 in a deck.

I think Magnezone works better on its own with the help of a pachurisu tech. Since yanmega doesn't do much heavy damage (maxing out at 90 only after an expert belt) he likes help. You might end up attacking with Magnezone more than you think especially with that number of cards in there. If you only want him for draw power, I'd run 2 at most. IMO he's also a little slow for draw power, being a stage 2.

As for Dialga G, SP hates trainer lock with a passion. Run Spiritomb to lock early game then swarm and snipe with yanmega. Find some more room for energy (even when youre not up against Dialga G there'll be some situations were you just can't get the right number of cards in hand). Dialga G will still be a hassle, but you should be able to play around him with ease.
- 1 Magnezone line
+ 3 Spiritomb (Arceus)
-2 Unown Q (Magnezone's retreat cost is to high for Unown Q to be of any help anyway)
+2 Warp energy (only if you want to attack with magnezone. It'll get him out of harms way and you can always lost zone it later) or add more grass energy.

With your build and even with the extra energy don't attack with magnezone unless you have too. He needs eats a lot of energy to be a main attacker.
Hope this helps XD
