Ruling Magnezone SF 6

I have a Magnezone SF 6 active, against my opponents Baltoy GE. is this the correct order of what happens when I attack?

Magnezone uses Gyro Ball, dealing 60 damage to the defending Baltoy. I choose to switch my Magnezone. My opponent choses what they switch out with, then Baltoy is KOed.
