GALACTIC'S CONQUEST TRANSLATIONS:
http://www.pokebeach.com/tcg/galactic%27s-conquest
The idea of this tournament is to have a meta-free environment. How do we do this? We play with a set that hasn't been released yet. Think about it: Every creation is your own, you will have a created a fantastic rogue for yourself, which might very well triumph over everyone else, and guess what? You thought of it all yourself!
For those not in the know, Platinum is the next set coming out in English. It's cards are comprised of the Japanese set I've given a link to above, and it also includes Shaymin Lv X Land Forme, Miasma Valley, Dialga (both versions) and Giratina (both versions) from Intense Fight in the Destroyed Sky, which was the Japanese equivalent to our Stormfront. The cards I have just mentioned were saved for Platinum release and thus weren't in SF.
So basically this is a normal Redshark tournament, but you have a to make a Platinum-based deck. Please, don't play Kingdra and just throw in a Shaymin Lv X as a filler, a Platinum pokemon has to be a major focus, or an important tech.
But Ariadosguy, we don't even have the cards yet! Won't we have to proxy?
Unfortunately, yes we will. However, I think personally that playing with new cards in a 100% rogue environment is well worth it. Remember, confirm what cards you're proxying for what with your opponent before-hand. Try to use a card that has the same name or is very similar to the card you're proxying for. For example, if I wanted to use the GC Blastoise, I would use the SW Blastoise as a proxy, because they have the same name and type. Just make it 100% sure with your opponent which cards are which before you play. Maybe even quiz your opponent on them. I don't know. You're all a smart bunch of people.
I'll see if enough people are interested, then this might happen.
Note: Do NOT sign up unless you are confident that you will not drop out. This can stuff up the pairings, and is generally disruptive. However, if you need to drop out, feel free to PM me. No point making you feel uncomfortable about dropping out.
