Ruling Prism and Rainbow Energy Changing Color?

If I have two rainbow or prism energy on Thundurus EX (I am asking the question for both prism and rainbow if the answers are different for each), can I use them as electric to pull off Thunderous Noise on attack, but also call them grass for protecting Thundurus EX from effects with Verizion's ability of protecting pokemon with grass energy attached? In other words, can the prism/rainbow energies be electric while attacking but be grass as the opponent attacks me with affects.

Both prism (for basics) and rainbow provide ALL types of energy at all times when in play (attached to pokemon).

So yes when attached to thunderus ex, it will provide electric for its attack and grass for protection provided by virizion ex.

Remember that it is just colorless when in in the discard pile and deck or hand
