I am aware of a rule allowing old Rare Candy cards from older sets in modern tournament play since the name is precisely that of the modern card and that the card plays precisely as the modern card even if the wording on the old card is different from the modern card.
Having established that, what is the situation with tournament play and Eelektrik 40/101 with Dynamotor and Eelektrik 46/108 with Head Butt? In other words I have a deck with (4) Eelektrik's, (2) are the Dynamotor type (very powerful) and (2) are the Headbutt type (very weak). Only the Headbutt type is a legal card. Do I have to remove the Dynamotor types from my deck? Or can I leave them in my deck and have the Dynamotor types act like the Headbutt types like the Rare Candy example above?
