This is a deck I have been building and trying out a few times so far, over several months. I have not taken it to a tournament, but I know it can provide quite some fun in friendly matches.
The goal in this deck is to take two-hit knockouts with Lurantis GX's Solar Blade while forcing your opponent to take three shots to knock your Lurantis GX out with the use of healing and HP increasing effects. The deck has some flaws, such as losing to Volcanion no matter what and sometimes having a rough time initially setting up, but once it gets going, the prize trade will most of the time be in your favour.
Here is the deck list I built most recently:
Pokemon - 18
4 Fomantis SM
3 Lurantis GX SM
1 Keldeo EX BCR
2 Jynx FFI
3 Flabebe FLF
3 Floette FLF (the one that gives your Grass Pokemon 20 extra Hit Points)
2 Shaymin EX ROS
Trainer - 32
3 Sky Field
3 Cynthia
1 Gardenia
1 Guzma
1 Hex Maniac
1 N
2 Professor Sycamore
3 Battle Compressor
3 Bodybuilding Dumbbells
3 Float Stone
2 Level Ball
1 Rescue Stretcher
4 Ultra Ball
4 VS Seeker
Energy - 10
10 Grass Energy
Pros: Lurantis GX can reach over 300 HP with the best setup and heal up to 130 damage (2 Victory Kiss + Gardenia + Solar Blade) in one turn.
The GX attack can score you a one hit knockout as soon as you can get 4-5 Energy onto one of your Lurantis GX
Immune to Special Energy hate
Cons:
No real backup attackers
Loses to Volcanion EX
Not exactly as consistent as the average Expanded deck
Suggested changes:
-2 Jynx
+2 Trainers' Mail
I would like to know if someone manages to get a 310 HP Lurantis GX going.
