This tutorial was the first one I've ever made. It leaves out some things: mainly an explanation of flow and depth. It also does not include credit for some of the stocks and brushes. Credit was given to those individuals on their dA accounts or through other means.

Well the way he did it, it isn't really specific to Photoshop. You could do everything he did on Gimp, so I think its best if he keeps it universal.
