This is my Twilight princess thread where you can talk about the game and ask fo help when your stuck.
 
It owns. Period. I finished it, got 20 hearts, got all golden bugs, all poe souls, finished the cave of ordeals...took me 80 hours. Well worth 60 bucks.
 
I have only been playing it for 5 days and have about 13 hours on it...and I love it. I'm seriously addicted. The only thing I just found out about is that I skipped a Piece of Heart at the beginning, and now I can't get there because Twilight Mist is blocking it :(. So I guess I'll have to go through the game with 19 max, unless that part of Faron Woods is freed of the mist and I can get to it before I have to play Ganandorf. But I just got turned into a wolf the 2nd time, and beat the Forest Temple. So..yeah.

Also, I don't know about the rest of you, but if you guys remember the beginning, when you had to go fishing for the cat..am I the only one that it took over an hour to get 2 fish to even bite?

No, but it did take me forever to realize that's what you had to do to get the cat to go home. I was doing everything, chasing it, throwing pumpkins...then it finally dawned on me, lol. Cats love fish! Duh!

I was reduced to throwing pumpkins and boulders AT the cat I got so frustrated. Then to top it off, sitting for 1 hour staring at a screen for the frickin' thing made me hate it even more. I'm just glad I don't have to do anything with it in the game anymore..or do I? :/

Try using the lantern to return to the cave, but also I have discovered that if you don't swing it around like the monkey did you'l eventually die. Also, I am pretty sure you don't have to deal with it.
 
Fishing plays no further role indeed. Altho its a fun time-waster.

And indeed, you have to swing it around. Pretty annoying, yeah.

I did. I died about 7 times still...it's extremely hard to do anything. I got about halfway, took one step too far and died. Basically about every other step you have to swing it, and you can't do that with only 2 bottles of lantern fuel. But..19 hearts is just fine for me.

The very first one in Faron Woods. The cave that you get the Small Key to unlock the gate, into the area that you have to defeat the 2 Boblokins (spell?) and I believe meet Trill. In that cave there were two places that you could light with your lantern, and if you did it would reveal a hidden chest, in which contained a Piece of Heart. Remember?

im stuck in the forest temple now......

i have 2 monkey folowers.
im trying to work out how to brake those big pillars of wood in front of the compos/gale rang  chest.
and how many lives should i have by the forest temple??
i only have 3...

Get the fishing rod from the kid's mom by getting the cradle from the monkey. Then just sit and wait for 2 fish to bite and the cat'll runaway and you can go get your slingshot, etc.

Alchemist_Almighty, yes I know that. I've tried and I ran out of fuel before I could get there. Twice.

I am just re-entering the world of twilight, and have just been turned into a wolf for the second time.

Bonsly - 4 Hearts. Did you say you do have the Gale Boomerang? Have you battled Ook yet? If not, you'll get it from him. He's the white chimpanzee...thing. If not..I'll go look at my guide. Just try and be a little clearer and I can help.
