This is a thread to share stories about battles or random times within the TCG where you or someone else (like your opponent) got extremely lucky. If your story is going to be like two sentences, don't post! I'll start us off:

My leauge leader was playing his Regigigas verses my Dusknoir. We're one prize each and he has rolled like 19 dice in the game, only getting one tails! Then, He uses Giga Blaster, and I have 8 cards in my hand, one of them being Warp Point which will win me the game. Guess what he chooses? I won't even say. After that, I will still win if he flips tails on his Gigaton Punch next turn. His ~20th heads of the game is well... heads! Later, I was telling someone else about the situation as he walked by. My opponent bets him he can't roll the same number more than 3 times in a row. He rolls one. It's a two. He rolls five more. All 2's. We ask him how he's doing it, and he says, "Good karma" and walks away.

Luck...
Well, I haven't encountered any real things yet, but I seem to recall that every time I tried to flip for Pokeball in the TCG for GB for 4 years, it would be Tails. I never once got head for the PokeBall card.
Also recently, whilst using Nidoran Male Base in the same TCG, I got 8 tails...it may be different as its a computer generated thing, but that really annoyed me.
As said, this is all from the TCG for the Game Boy as I haven't had very much real experience.

Wow. I've had that problem with Nidoran M from SW before as well as the Nidoking from SW.

i've faced kingdra 12+times.... only 2 of those games have they not gotten T1 kingdra IT SURE IS FUN! NOT i still won most of them though, i just have really bad luck VS. kingdra. and also against scizor i was playing ampharos/weavile and my hand was:
mareep
mareep
baltoy
2 L energy
1 special dark enrergy....
and i drew nothing the whole game ;(

Sounds like the opposite of my Kingdra, elekid. I've never been donked by it. And that sounds like my leauge leader, mew. It's funny how luck isn't supposed to be a big factor in this game, yet it can win anyone (or lose anyone) a game.

Luckiest so far from going to League was about seven or eight heads with Magikarp's Sea Spray. Drew a lot of cards and managed to beat the league leader with them.

dmaster out.

Wow. My leauge leader and I have great matches normally, and I would have dominated that one if it hadn't been for all of those heads. Here's another story:

Back in the DP prereleases, one of my opponents got a killer setup while I had nothing. I desperately play Speed Stadium, and epically fail every time. Then, after a long, drawn-out game, we both have 2 prizes left, none of us with damage, and both of us with about 15 cards left in our decks, my opponent uses Speed Stadium and flips about 11 heads off of it in one turn! Then, I won because he decked out, despite his killer setup!

Back during the LM prereleases, I played a guy who used Pinser. It was the only pokemon in his deck. Because of its body, I couldn't attack it with basics. And I had only 4 evolutions in my deck. He misread Overhead Toss(or "misread", I'm not sure) and thought it did 20 damage to one of my benched pokemon instead of one of his, which he didn't have. I pointed it out midgame after reading the card, and he was quite surprised. I brought up a sentret and he had only 1 prize left, fully charged just in case I drew a furret. I drew a card. Guess what I got. Furret. I got lucky and paralyzed twice with body slam and finished him with do the wave. Pinser was his only pokemon, so I won. Later during the prerelease, I saw him cry. Wierd...

If it was that late in the game, it's not exactly extremely lucky, but it still is somewhat because everything depended on that card.

Two total luck story's:

Back at the PK prerelease, I got one Flareon* and one Skarmory ex and one zangoose (and some more).
I started with Zangoose EVERY MATCH!!!!!!!
So I was number one!! (as usual)

In some official tournament, I played a Darkrai rogue and attacked with Darkrai Lv.X "Enless Darkness! Good luck flipping two heads in a row!" and he was flipping two heads!
Next turn "Enless Darkness! You've had ominious luck last turn, but it won't happen again!" once again, he was flipping to heads! Next turn "Enless Darkness! KO!''. Next turn "Enless Darkness! Yes one tails thank god!". Next turn was flipping two heads and his luck continoud till the end of the third game! It happened during the finals, so I didn't win... That's not like me! I ALWAYS win!!!!! But now it's not ''always'' anymore..... :(

I wouldn't say that Darkrai is exactly a rogue. It was a main player back in last format until after Regionals. Essentially a GG counter.

I was playing against a TTar deck, using Machamp. I play one Poke Drawer on T1, draw the RC and then get the T1 donk. :D

Wow! Some guy had no hand and I was going to kill his active Glaceon next turn. Then he top-decks Glaceon LV. X... I still won, though.

Today on RS I got: Kingdra, Horsea, Rare candy,Water energy, Pokeblower, pokeklower, pokeblower, pokeblower. My oppenet had sableye and and a baltoy on bench. I go T2 and get three heads on pokeblower flips and put 3 damage counters on baltoy. Dargon pump for the 2 pokemon Donk. My oppenent got so mad.

That is just sad. I've NEVER heard of anything even close to something that lucky.

At Phoenix, I played against machamp. My opponent uses Machamp's second attack. He flipped 4 2s. I naturally did a weight check, and my flips with that die went like this: 1-5-3-5-5-1-2-3-1-1-1-5. Fun, huh?

That isn't even funny. I've been in situations where 1 heads will win me the game, and I am flipping multiple coins, but no! All tails.
