Trouble with GameCube Memory Card.

So well, I´m having lots of troubles with my Memory Card.
Basically, the Memory Card supposedly gets corrupted when I disconnect the Wii, when I remove the Memory Card from the Wii, when the electricity goes away and basically, when the Wii "On" Button light turns red...

When it gets corrupted, the next time I want to play a GameCube game, it says that I need to format it, and well, I say yes.

And, when something from above happens, the Memory Card gets corrupted again >_<

I find this really annoying and I can´t really enjoy GameCube games like this, so anybody knows why this happens? All help would be appreciated.

Check the Wii website, or not disconnect the wii. Keep it on.

Well, I NEVER disconnect it.
Howevere, sometimes the Wii freezes or it doesn´t want to turn on, so I HAVE to disconnect it.

Anyways, I will check the Wii site then...

Hmm, well, I will do what slicky says...But, um, how do I put it on Sleep Mode? >_<
I will just leave this a little longer to see if I get other replies...

Instead of a red light it has a yellow light. The Wii doesn't shut down this way. It basically "hibernates" so to speak. I don't remember exactly how to do it though :/

^No, I'm pretty sure it only gives you the yellow light when you have Wi-Fi Connection. It lets you know you are connected. I may be wrong.

But I do have to agree with slicky. You may have to get a new Memory Card. Or use an actual Gamecube(if you have one). That could work.

/me fails.

Yellow light means it's off and connected to Wi-Fi :p

Like Yoshi said if you have a Gamecube or another Wii, you can try testing the card on those machines. If it still doesn't work, get a new memory card.

Um so well, I tried putting it in the Gamecube. It said I needed to format it, so I did.
But well, after that, I took out the Memory Card and then I putted it back in, and I got no "Memory Card is corrupted" message, and I disconnected the GameCube, then connected it again, and I (luckily) still didn´t got the message.

However, I took the Memory Card out of the GameCube and then I put it on the Wii, and on the Wii it said that it needs to be formatted (But of course I didn´t format it). THEN I PUTTED IT BACK on the GameCube and I still didn´t got the message.

Simpler Description: The Memory Card does not need to be formatted on the GameCube, but it needs to on the Wii. (So is this the Wii or the Memory Card´s fault?)

Ugh, problem is, my GameCube doesn´t read the discs. X(
