USA / UK Difference?

In Yu-Gi-Oh European English cards are different to US English cards due to them being printed on different card / or with different printing methods which cause the American cards to appear duller/darker than the European counterparts.

I was wondering if old Pokemon cards from Base, Base 2, Jungle, Fossil, and Rocket have any differences between the US / UK versions?
