    Plasma Ball [Espeon / Deoxys]

RE: Plasma Ball [Espeon/Deoxys] Aw, crap. Apparently, it boosting it in PTCGO is a bug, then? Well, damn.

The Return of Donchamp (with special guests Landorus and Terrakion)

Alright, now I'm even more confused. :psyduck: I'm not sure if I agree or not. I tend to use it to get back energy and/or a Terrakion mid to late game, but I'm not sure if that's because of Super Rod, or just me not having enough energy.

The Return of Donchamp (with special guests Landorus and Terrakion)

Somewhat related question: Are Supporters still Trainers? It seems like they've been flip-flopping on the issue.

The Return of Donchamp (with special guests Landorus and Terrakion)

I was just about to make the Sage's Training change when I saw that post. Do you think one Shaymin would be out of place? It's not quite a Switch, but something about punishing a Catcher with a Terrakion Land Crush really appeals to me. Plus, it'd be a decent way to get an attacker up to speed...

The Return of Donchamp (with special guests Landorus and Terrakion)

Can't argue with that logic. Except maybe Energy Search, because of Junk Arm.

    Can Landorus redeem Machamp Prime?

The most reliable way to get a fighting energy in the graveyard is part of the reason that Trainer Lock can really hurt the deck: Engineer's Adjustments (or Professor Juniper, in a pinch). Keeping Donphan in the deck does provide a bit of wiggle room, but getting everything to go off without a...

    Spiritomb (TR10) [1/2/2012]

    1. How does this card stand on its own? Not very well. If Spiritomb evolved into something useful, it'd be a pretty passable Pokemon. No weakness, 60 HP. Even its attack could certainly be worse, and happens to completely bypass everything from Thick Skin to Eviolite. Not great, but for a...

    Can Landorus redeem Machamp Prime?

Noble Victories 74, Landorus. Triumphant 95, Machamp Prime It seems to me like these two cards were made for each other. Landorus can hit with a Gaia Hammer on turn 2 if you manage to discard a {F} on Turn 1, and if you have a full bench when you do, that's 150 damage on turn 3, on a Pokemon...

Completely overhauled the OP, and the decklist.

The Return of Donchamp (with special guests Landorus and Terrakion)

RE: Gigalith/Donphan Prime (/Machamp Prime?) Maybe my logic is flawed. I dunno, Throh's unreliable, but I like the idea of him stalling for a couple turns while I set up. Someone on PlayTCG had the idea of pulling out Gigalith, and doing what he does with Landorus instead. Would that be a...

The Return of Donchamp (with special guests Landorus and Terrakion)

RE: Gigalith/Donphan Prime (/Machamp Prime?) DCE. I'm still struggling with getting consistency in the decks. Ending up with just the Bellsprout sounds like an absolutely wonderful way to die horribly. Still, I've put it in, plus a Throh to deal with Durant, and just because it's an amazing...

    Tier List (Update: 12/9)

I would love to see someone work Gigalith into Donchamp and bring it back. Maybe Shear could provide the needed speed. Or maybe I've just got my hopes up.

The Return of Donchamp (with special guests Landorus and Terrakion)

RE: Gigalith/Donphan Prime (/Machamp Prime?) Alright, fair enough, I guess I just don't like teching in something that fragile (both in terms of HP, and how many counters for it there are) for a single Pokemon, T1 or not. This deck has consistency problems as it is, and I feel like I'm giving...

The Return of Donchamp (with special guests Landorus and Terrakion)

RE: Gigalith/Donphan Prime (/Machamp Prime?) It seems kind of, I dunno, a bit risky/daft to put in a Pokemon that can't attack to deal with one 'mon. Is it really that dangerous? Is there another way to deal with it? A Colorless or Fighting one would be nice. Maybe Smeargle or Landorus would...

The Return of Donchamp (with special guests Landorus and Terrakion)

RE: Gigalith/Donphan (Rock and Rollout) Super Rod's a good idea, I didn't even know that card existed. Do you think I have enough Junk Arms? A lot of people seem to be saying to always use four. Think I'll try with both, see what works. Thick-Skin Phanpy might be a good idea, too. I'll give it...
